Summary: I Cannot Imagine Anyone Walking Out....
Comment: When Eckhart Tolle begins this lecture he repeatedly, in his inimitable manner, warns the participants that they might be so bored they will get up and walk out. I cannot imagine anyone NOT being captivated and mesmerized by his teachings. IN this one, he seems very direct and tells people how he feels about the direct humanity is headed and other personal observations.
Another wonderful addition to those who enjoy and appreciate this true Spiritual Master's work.
Plus, I adore his sense of humor, that funny little laugh when he cracks one of those teeny little Eckhart jokes makes me laugh out loud...really!

Summary: Can't make the darn diskett work in my computer !
Comment: It's a great disappointment to buy a cd book only to find it does not work in your computer. The marketing protocols should carefully advise the buyer on such matters, somehow, someway, somewhere; perhaps an on-line test feed to check compatibility before you spend to money? Come-on guys you can do better. [...]

Summary: If you like Tolle, you'll like this.
Comment: Eckhart starts off by saying, "This will not be interesting". He means that, and he's a genuinely humble man - but he's wrong. I'm always fearful of introducing someone to the work of Tolle - it can be a shock to some people. I think this DVD is not too shocking, however. He eases you into his philosophies and gets a little excited only after the halfway point.
Even though I am quite familiar with Tolle, I was captivated by this DVD. Letting yourself ease into a calmer state of being or way of life is not easy for most people and it really helps to read or hear Eckhart's words, again and again, in order to see how his ideas can work in your life and to overcome some of the objections that a skeptical person (like me) might have at first.
If I were to try to give a synopsis of Eckhart's ways, I would only chase people away with my inadequacy at describing them. Get this DVD or read "A New Earth" and watch a little, read a little, and give yourself time to absorb and process. Don't trust what someone else says - see for yourself.
