Comment: The louder I turn it, the louder the hissssing. It's possible that it's meant as a part of the rain sound, but to me it sounds like non-stop hissssing. If it wasn't for that it seems like it would be very relaxing. Too bad!

Comment: I've been playing myself to sleep with this CD for about five years. It's a perfect blend of gentle rain and gentle (original) meandering music. No distracting sounds or sudden shifts in volume. I've tried a number of "rain" CDS and not one comes close to this one.

Comment: I love to listen to this CD when I go to bed or when I want to relax. It drowns out the sounds of my neighbors and helps me unwind. There are no bird calls or other distracting sounds just the soothing sound of rain. It's a must have for those who have difficulty sleeping.

Comment: I love the sound of rain, especially when ready for bed, so I bought this CD. I was especially glad to have it when I began working night shifts: It masked the day-time sounds outside, and made day-sleeping so much easier. Excellent to relax and read with. I highly recommend this recording!!
