Summary: Song of the Mississippi - A Review
Comment: The album contains sounds of the river juxtaposed with original and adapted songs. One feels the mighty Mississippi through the music. There are blues, ragtime melodies done by fiddle, guitar, harmonica and piano: a bit of all the things one would expect from this river's fertile musical heritage.

I have found it to be one of my favorite albums, and am glad to see it is still available.
