Summary: A Yoga Dream
Comment: I loved the tv series Yoga Zone, so when I saw that they had released some cd's I was ecstatic! I love the whole cd, but the stand outs for me is track #4 and track #1. If you are looking to relax after a hard day of work, or are doing your Yoga routine, this is the perfect choice! If only Yoga Zone was still around...

Summary: "gentle, spiritual, hypnotic and ethnic all rolled into one"
Comment: Remember "Yoga Zone:Music for Meditation"(1998), with the Windam Hill label, this was also in the genre of New Age...with artists such as Yanni, David Arkenstone, William Ackerman and Ravi Shankar ~ thoroughly enjoyed the series. Higher Octave has gone one step further, with Yoga Zone presents "Garden Of Peace", featuring a compilation of musicians and composers from William Aura, Brainscapes, Peter Davison, Deuter, Face On Mars, Johannes Walter and Yulara sharing the gifts that will influence the acute hearing within your very soul. This is a good thing, music to reflect the sounds of nature and give you peace. You need time to meditate, relaxing from a stressful experience of the day ~ this album will do just that!
Each track is very different in texture ~ "NIGHT IN UBUD", notably hints of India, with a settling of joyful rhythms ~ "EARTH-LINK", tranquil with exotic simplicity ~ "RELAXATION", composer/artist Walter's brings a touch of renaissance with acoustic guitar solo, straight from a Lutheran hymn book beautiful refrains ring out ~ "FOREST V", selection from "Forest/Mountain", takes us high up in the clouds above the foliage, this composer had a five star album with "Winds Of Space" back in 1987 ~ "BLUE", electronic instruments send
vibes of soothing spiritual messages from "Mother Nature", bringing on calmness that sends you deep into a trance like mood ~ "HO DO!", from one of my favorite albums "All Is One"(1996) this selection of ocean waves with vocal is nothing less than hypnotic, touching on peaceful reflective inner thoughts, flute and joining keyboard echoes travel to a land of contentment that all beings search for.
This compilation is a keeper ~ looking forward to the next installment in the Yoga Zone/Higher Octave series "Ocean Of Peace", this is therapy in the ultimate sense.
