Comment: Wow! Meav is such an incredible performer and I love the songs, I live in the Pacific Northwest less than an hour from the ocean so listening to these songs is great, I can see and hear the ocean as I listen to this. I especially love the songs "Wicked Sister" and "Full Fathom Five". I enjoyed learning a bit about the songs be reading the inside cover especially that some of the songs are hundreds of years old but yet can still have a profound effect on people.

Summary: Fantastic MEAV Music
Comment: This is a beautiful musical experience by MEAV Ni Mhaochatha.
Each song is sung with absolute clarity and loveliness.
MEAV creates a journey to your heart with each and every song she sings.
Especially beautiful is the song, "THE WAVES OF TORY" written by her father. The song is perfect for MEAV'S voice. If you love "DANNY BOY", as I do , you will truly love "MORNING IN BEARRA" as it has the same melody as "Danny Boy". "YOUKALI TANGO" has a new MEAV twist to it...it's really wonderful.
"A MAID IN BEDLAM" also is especially pretty.
If you have not met MEAV'S music...this is a great time to do so. I recommend that you buy and enjoy "SILVER SEA", "MEAV: A CELTIC JOURNEY", AND "MEAV". These are all wonderful CD's. You won't be sorry!!

Comment: The two used copies are selling for an insane price. If anybody wants to buy this album, join Rhapsody and do a search for "Meav" and you will find this album and can download it there for $0.89 per track ($11.57 for all 13 tracks). Or just remain a subscriber and listen to the music in streaming format whever you want!
Note: In the past I have gone to amazon.co.uk and ordered titles there. Sometimes titles labeled here as an "import" can be purchased far cheaper from amazon.co.uk - despite the additional shipping charges! Unfortunately amazon.co.uk doesn't have Silver Sea either.
